12th Didcot Celebrate at Cinema - 12-11-2007

Over 100 Cubs, Beaver Scouts and their families celebrated 100 years of scouting by watching the new animated film, Ratatouille, at Cineworld Didcot.

After the film some new Cubs had the excitement of making their Cub Scout promise, in the cinema, and being enrolled into the 12th Didcot Scout troop.

Scott Leader, Assistant Cub Scout leader with the Didcot 12th group said “In this the Centenary year of scouting we have aimed to enrol children in special places to give them something to remember and celebrate from this very special Scouting anniversary year. They found Ratatouille very funny and were very proud to be enrolled in front of so many people.”
