Didcot First

Scouts in Didcot are proud to support Didcot First, as the first volunteer organisation to join as members.

Didcot First is a local company, formed in 2007 with the intention of working to ensure that Didcot is seen as a positive place to live, work and invest.

David Pryor is the Chairman of Didcot First whilst Di Chesterman and Alison Adams are the two Development Managers. We are supported by a strong board of funders and advisors.

Didcot First is based in a small unit adjacent to Next in Didcots' Orchard Shopping Centre and is open from 10 - 12noon every weekday. We are also open on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 8.30 - 1.30pm to coincide with the Farmers Market, where we serve Fairtrade tea, coffee and hot chocolate. At other times we open by appointment via our website

Didcot First aims to be a voice for the community and to work as a community catalyst, making good things happen for Didcot.

If you have ideas and suggestions to make that concern our town and the surrounding area why not get in touch.
